Advanced Wreck Diver, Technical Wreck Diver And Rebreather Wreck

An Advanced or Technical Wreck Instructor may teach this course. To teach Rebreather Cave, the Instructor must be an IANTD Wreck Rebreather Instructor or higher. The instructor may teach only the category Rebreather CCR, SCR, or PSCR their Rebreather Wreck instructor qualification is on. Once qualified as a Rebreather Wreck instructor the instructor may use any rebreather they are at least diver qualified on to teach Wreck Rebreather diver programs.

 
 For example: A Rebreather Wreck instructor who trained as a Rebreather Wreck on a CCR O2ptima may teach a Wreck Diver-level course while using any other CCR that the instructor, at minimum, is a qualified diver on. The Rebreather Wreck instructor may teach students on all rebreather the instructor is diver qualified on, provided they are Rebreather Wreck instructor in that category CCR, SCR, PSCR. The same applies to PSCR and SCR.

Purpose

This Program is designed to train divers in extended wreck penetration diving and the technical utilization of EANx for wreck exploration and the use of EANx and oxygen for decompression.

 Prerequisites

1. Must be qualified as an IANTD Deep Diver or equivalent. For Technical Wreck Diver Program, must also be qualified as an IANTD EANx Diver.
   
2. Must provide proof of a minimum of 70 logged dives or sufficient experience doing technical dives to satisfy the instructor that the student has the ability and knowledge to continue into this level of training.
   OR A minimum of 40 logged dives with qualification as IANTD Wreck or Cavern Diver. If dives in the course below 130 fsw (39 msw) are planned the diver must have 100 logged dives.
   
3. Must be qualified as an IANTD Rebreather Diver.
   
4. This course may be taught in conjunction with a CCR Normoxic Trimix or CCR Trimix Diver course.
   
5. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
