Elite Diver (OC, SRC, CCR)

An open water instructor or higher certification with 5 or more instructor specialties certified by IANTD HQ may teach this course. A Rebreather Instructor is required in order to certify a diver as a Rebreather Elite Diver at this level.

 
Purpose

 

This program has been designed to provide divers with the highest certification in the recreational level before entering the professional diving circle in teaching or in technical diving. Divers completing 5 IANTD Specialties or more may be eligible to apply for the Elite Diver Certification.
 

Prerequisites

  1. Must be an IANTD Advanced Open Water Diver.
     
  2. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or 15 years of age with a parent or guardian authorization.
     
  3. Must have 5 IANTD specialty certification or more.
    1. Core IANTD specialties for this certification are; Deep Diver, EANx Diver, Rescue Diver and Navigation Diver
    2. Other IANTD specialties divers can obtain are: Night Diver, DPV Diver, Underwater Photographer, Marine Ecology, Boat Diver, Salvage Diver, Drift Diver or other specialty training area.
